Great expressions on Liam's face (perfectly matching the bubbles' text)... And of course continuing - hopefully temporary = discomfort on the part of Ally in regard to the belt business. Liam is bravely facing the situation: he is working on fitting the whole complex event into his own life and his position in the family. A tough issue for the little guy: He will get through it soon enough though! On the other hand, Dillon has been very good with quickly bringing Ally into the family - We were very impressed with his lovely welcome and his efforts to take Ally around and make her comfortable in her new surroundings... Including his waking up with her early in the morning of July 25 (following Ally's first night at the TADALA Home), and carrying her to Amy and Tristan's room. As blog viewers might know, Dillon and Aidan had decided to "camp" in Ally's room for that first night! He has fully ramped up to the situation! An interesting anecdote regarding Aidan: as all 3 boys were laying Legos for Ally - see attached collage produced by Tristan), she - not totally intentionally - hit Aidan in the head with the flute (which we brought for Aidan from China) as she was swinging the instrument around. Aidan swiftly elected to take it all like a big guy, and merely put his hand to his head with no further complaint, despite the fact that it was a pretty swift blow that hit him. Attaboy indeed!
We're a growing family of four boys and two girls! Follow along as we enjoy China, soccer, basketball, piano, and anything else that God throws our way!
